PhonyBotz: a robot communicating controlled by a terminal Android

ARTOYS and NVY just announced the PhonyBotz: a robot contacting Android smartphones and tablets.
NVY (specializing in new technology products) and Artoyz (French distributor of action figures [including those of Andrew Bell]) are joining forces to put on sale shortly on PhonyBotz. This robot takes the appearance of bugdroid, the mascot of Android. He can communicate with smartphones and tablets under the operating system, making it an object geek.

The two parties communicate via Bluetooth. Different sensors are controllable: the eyes (LEDs), the head movements (360 °), arms and feet. You can then move the bugdroid anywhere, while articulating. His eyes will flash red-green-blue-orange-purple-white. But he has not only the appearance of the mascot of Android, because it uses Froyo operating system. It recharges via a USB cable (1 hour to load it) and takes 4 hours of intensive use and 48 hours standby.

Since the terminal Android, you can control the PhonyBotz, thanks to the accelerometer or touch. In addition to monitoring sensors already mentioned, it will detect when the smartphone or tablet has a low battery level. It will also recognize the calls, SMS and other alerts. It will connect with the community sites.

No price is given for the moment, because the output is scheduled for October.
